Our client are an independent global luxury brand, recruiting a Retail Manager.

You'll take ownership of strategic sales management, store operations, and personnel management across multiple locations.

This is a great opportunity to take a senior leadership role in an independent brand with a high degree of autonomy.

Key Responsibilities:

• Lead sales strategies for 8+ stores in Tokyo, Osaka, and Kyoto.
• Lead / manage more than 30 staff members.
• Strengthen relationships with department store sales divisions.
• Plan new store openings and coordinate events.
• Optimize inventory turnover, stock levels, and stock liquidation strategies.
• Identify opportunities to improve operational efficiency in VMD, Merchandising, and Logistics.
• Manage retail operations.
• Lead training programs for retail staff.

Qualifications:

• 5+ years of sales experience.
• Experience in retail / fashion.
• Experience in a team management role.
• Experience negotiating and communicating with department stores
