This role offers the opportunity to independently manage Japanese contracts and legal documents, providing bilingual support and collaborating on global projects. Key Responsibilities:
- Review and revise Japanese contracts and legal documents
- Provide bilingual Japanese-English translation for legal documents
- Support regulatory compliance and license applications in Japan
- Assist in litigation and dispute resolution with external counsel
- Offer daily legal advice and risk assessments to Japan team
- Collaborate with global legal teams on international projects
Qualifications:
- Must speak and write fluently in Japanese (mandatory)
- 3+ years of experience in legal field (mandatory)
- Japanese legal education (mandatory)
- Experience in corporate law is preferred but not mandatory
- Japanese attorney qualification is preferred but not mandatory
- Fluent in English and Chinese is preferred but not mandatory
