Overview: Seeking an experienced IT Manager to execute technology modernization project within a dynamic financial services environment. The ideal candidate will be a Japanese native with prior experience in the financial services sector, possessing a blend of project management skills, IT service management expertise, and hands-on IT helpdesk support experience.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Project Management: Lead and manage IT modernization projects, ensuring alignment with business objectives, timelines, and budgets. Utilize project management methodologies to oversee project execution from initiation to completion.

  • IT Service Management: Develop and implement IT service management frameworks and processes to enhance service delivery and user satisfaction. Ensure effective incident, problem, and change management practices are in place.

  • IT Helpdesk Support: Oversee IT helpdesk operations, providing hands-on support and guidance to team members. Monitor and improve service desk performance, ensuring prompt resolution of technical issues.

  • Stakeholder Collaboration: Collaborate with cross-functional teams to identify technology needs and requirements. Communicate effectively with stakeholders to ensure project expectations are met.

  • Continuous Improvement: Identify opportunities for system enhancements and efficiencies, leading initiatives to modernize IT infrastructure and services.

Qualifications:

  • Native Japanese speaker with strong English communication skills.
  • Bachelor's degree in Information Technology, Computer Science, or a related field.
  • Minimum of 5+ years of experience in IT management within the financial services sector.
  • Proven project management experience
  • Strong background in IT service management frameworks (e.g., ITIL).
  • Hands-on experience in IT support and helpdesk operations.
  • Excellent problem-solving skills and the ability to work in a fast-paced environment.
