IT Application Manager (Global Retail) Up to 12M JPY!

Our client are a global retail group, recruiting an IT Application Manager.

This is a leadership role with team management responsibilities. You'll manage application services across multiple brands / businesses.

Responsibilities:

• Manage a team.
• Develop IT application strategy that meets the needs of multiple businesses.
• Oversee application deployment projects from start to finish.
• Ensure that projects meet deadlines.
• Address functional and technical issues quickly.
• Collaborate with global stakeholders.
• Maintain application compliance with data protection laws, including PCI DSS, APPI, and GDPR.
• Manage vendor relationships.

Qualifications:

• Minimum 5 years of relevant experience.
• Leadership & project management experience.
• Experience with SAP ECC systems
• Skilled in middleware technologies, system integration, and data security.
• Knowledge of Agile and Lean methodologies.
• Knowledge of S/4 HANA migration (preferred).
• Japanese Fluency is mandatory.
• Ability to foster a collaborative team environment.
