IT Application Manager (Global Consumer Goods)

Our client are a global consumer goods / FMCG group; they are recruiting an experienced IT Application Manager for Japan.

The focus is on implementing ERP systems (primarily Microsoft ERP), though SAP or Dynamics experience will also be also valued.

This is a great opportunity to work directly with global HQ and have a strategic impact on Japan operations.

Responsibilities

• Manage IT application projects from start to finish.
• Define project scope, objectives, and deliverables.
• Develop project plans with schedules and resource allocation.
• Ensure seamless integration of IT solutions.
• Manage internal stakeholders & external vendor partners.
• Oversee ERP system implementation, particularly Microsoft ERP.

Qualifications

• Proven IT project management experience.
• Knowledge of Microsoft ERP, Dynamics, or SAP.
• ERP implementation experience (preferred).
• Strong leadership & intercultural communication skills.
• Project management certification (preferred, but not mandatory).
• Must be fluent in Japanese.
