We are recruiting for a fast-growing Ed-Tech company that seeks a Serverside/Infrastructure Engineer. Our client is responsible for a major language-learning application with over three million users.

This is a rare opportunity that does not require Japanese language!

Responsibilities:

• Oversee and develop backend system and infrastructure.
• Design and roll out system architectures aligned with app growth.
• Tackle and refine incident monitoring systems.
• Craft and adjust serverside programs and features.

Technical Environment:

• Languages: Kotlin, Python
• Framework: Spring Boot
• Infrastructure: AWS (Managed via Terraform)
• Tools: GitHub, BitBucket, Slack, Datadog, JIRA, Confluence

Qualifications:

• 2-3 years in backend development and service operation.
• Solid grasp of AWS.
• Capability to modify service architectures for better scalability.
• Experience with JVM.
• Familiarity with Terraform and GitHub Actions are advantageous.
