We are looking for a Senior Human Resources Business Partner in Tokyo to lead HR strategies that support our business goals. This full-time role involves creating and applying people strategies, building a high-performance culture, and ensuring we follow labor laws. You will work with business leaders to strengthen our organization, manage talent, support changes, and encourage teamwork. You will also manage HR programs and ensure effective hiring and retention.
Key Responsibilities:
- Work with leaders to plan and apply HR strategies that support our goals and improve skills and culture.
- Manage talent processes, such as succession planning and leadership growth, and oversee onboarding and training.
- Support change efforts to align with business plans and culture.
- Encourage a collaborative work environment, advise on people issues, and handle labor union interactions when needed.
- Manage HR programs like performance management, succession planning, and pay processes.
- Comply with local labor laws and company rules, improving policies and procedures.
Qualifications:
- Bachelor's degree in Human Resources, Business Administration, or Social Sciences.
- Over 8 years of HR experience, including 2 years as an HRBP, preferably in a multinational company.
- Skilled in talent management, pay, and employee relations.
- Proficient in English and fluent in Japanese.
- Strong skills in building relationships and influencing others.
- Highly accountable and able to handle multiple tasks.
- Thinks analytically, strategically, and creatively.
- Proactive with a focus on urgency and detail.
