Location: Tokyo
Seniority: Roles available from Associate to VP-grade.

Our client are a global financial services company, expanding in Tokyo. They are seeking Credit Risk Management professionals at a variety of seniorities.

This is a rare opportunity that does not require Japanese language fluency. Japanese ability is preferred, but not mandatory.

Responsibilities:

• Monitor and analyze credit risk for affiliates in Asia, UK, and US.
• Conduct credit reviews and negotiate agreements, focusing on offshore hedge fund clients.
• Work with global risk colleagues to manage credit risks for financial institutions and hedge funds, with an emphasis on security transactions.
• Support the assessment of new business ventures from a credit risk viewpoint.

Qualifications:

• 5 years of relevant experience.
• Experience in global risk management or extensive credit review of institutional clients.
• Knowledge of derivatives, repo/stock lending.
• Fluency in Japanese (preferred, but not mandatory)
