Global Head of Data and Analytics (Manage a global team!)

Our client are a major medical device manufacturer, searching for a Global Head of Data and Analytics. This is a senior management role - the suitable candidate will be comfortable making strategic decisions in a global environment. You will also have multiple opportunities for international travel.

You will be responsible for implementing large scale data analytics solutions and promoting a data-driven culture across global operations.

Responsibilities:

• Lead a globally-distributed team.
• Create strategic data & analytics frameworks & services.
• Oversee data management and quality.
• Lead & participating in transformation projects.
• Lead the development and implementation of Business Intelligence projects.
• Advocate for Data & Analytics best practices, enhancing team skills and sharing knowledge.
• Convert data strategy into governance priorities and oversee their execution, focusing on improvement.
• Act as the point of contact for operational issues, promoting continuous improvement.

Qualifications:

• Advanced degree in a relevant discipline or equivalent experience in Data Management and Analytics.
• Proven project management skills, with a preference for relevant certifications.
• Knowledge of SAP ERP systems, especially MM and PP modules, and familiarity with SAP MDG.
• Experience with Business Intelligence tools, such as Microsoft PowerBI and Tableau.
• At least 5 years of experience in the MedTech industry or related consulting, with a focus on Supply Chain Planning or Logistics (preferred).
• Understanding of cloud-based data architectures and databases, especially Microsoft Azure, with relevant certifications beneficial.
