Global Asset Management: Fund Manager / Portfolio Manager

Overview:
A global asset management firm is seeking a dedicated Fund Manager / Portfolio Manager to join their Index Solution Group and Investment Operations team. In this role, you'll contribute to equity passive investment management and operational efficiency, leveraging IT skills to drive productivity and innovation.

Responsibilities:

• Oversee equity passive investment, focusing on low-cost and ESG-compliant products.
• Collaborate with internal teams to optimize data processing and enhance operational productivity.
• Drive new product development and enhance the appeal of existing products through market knowledge and index expertise.

Qualifications:

• Native level Japanese fluency
• Experience in the financial industry, with knowledge of market products (equity, bonds, forex).
• Strong IT literacy, with intermediate programming skills (Python, SQL, VBA).
• Excellent communication skills and a strong team player.
• Proactive mindset toward operational efficiency and new product development.
