Business objectives: ・ As a Senior Controller, accurately analyze performance and risks through reporting, analysis, forecasting, and budgeting, and support the CFO and management team to improve the company's profitability and efficiency. ・ Responsible for the following tasks throughout all phases of the accounting, actual performance management, and budget management for the Mag Isobelle business unit: ・ Expense management, salary and personnel management, equipment investment management, sales management expense forecasting, accounts payable management, inter-company transactions. ・ Inventory management, application forms, access to systems/servers, management tools (such as Chop).
Job overview: Conduct appropriate monthly and year-end closing preparations, as well as routine and ad hoc investigations and analyses. Manage all confidential information in accordance with department, company, and group policies. Propose improvements to financial and management methods and execute them. Provide financial expertise to support various projects and lead projects as the main contact in the financial team. Timely implementation of budgeting, annual forecasts, and medium to long-term planning, coordination with various business stakeholders, confirmation of the consistency and feasibility of the plan data, and provide necessary analysis and explanations. Conduct appropriate variance analysis in the assigned area, manage trend of results, and provide corrective measures for follow-up (P/L, B/S, cash flow, working capital, pensions, quantities, prices, product mix, production differences, expenses, WCM, etc.). Confirm the appropriate implementation of business management activities within the responsible organization. Maintain and standardize efficient information systems (global reporting system, SAP, EXACT). Promote the introduction of digital solutions and continuous process improvement. Implement global/regional and Japan-led solutions and improvements in the assigned area (e.g., paperless processes, automation of analysis). Build and maintain effective cooperation with other departments within the company and be a trusted business partner. Handle external stakeholders (e.g., external auditors).
