Finance Manager (Hybrid, up to 9M salary, 20 Vacation Days Annually)


We are looking for a Finance Manager for a leading company in the consumer healthcare sector. Your main task will be to improve financial systems and controls, ensuring clear and accurate financial reports. You will work closely with teams in Japan and the UK, impacting a growing Japanese e-commerce business.


Key Responsibilities:

• - Manage accurate accounting for the Japanese branch, following UK and Japanese standards.
• - Ensure all business transactions are correctly recorded in SAP.
• - Forecast and maintain cash flow, suggesting ways to optimize cash use.
• - Provide analysis to support decision-making and improve profits.
• - Work with the UK finance team and join monthly strategy meetings.
• - Find ways to save costs and increase profits in operations and procurement.
• - Improve stock management to reduce waste.
• - Ensure compliance with Japanese tax laws and lead financial audits.
• - Act as a financial advisor to the Japan GM, supporting business proposals and product launches.

Qualifications:

• - Bachelor's degree in Accounting or related field; CPA or ACCA required.
• - 3-5 years of finance experience in an e-commerce setting.
• - Strong knowledge of Japanese GAAP and UK GAAP/IFRS.
• - Fluent in English and Japanese.
• - Strong analytical and problem-solving skills.
• - Experience with SAP and advanced Excel skills is a plus.
