Finance Director (Hotel, 12-14m, Hybrid)

Our client are a leading hospitality company looking for a skilled Finance Director to manage our financial operations in Japan.

You'll oversee the finance department to ensure accurate financial reporting across various properties. This is a chance to work at the strategic partner level - improving team efficiency and taking part in decisions that drive business growth.

Key Responsibilities:


- Prepare and submit accurate financial and management reports.
- Regularly review company accounts, records, and transactions.
- Manage credit, collections, and keep records for fixed assets and inventories.
- Protect contracts, leases, and other essential documents.
- Analyze monthly financial reports and correct any discrepancies.
- Work with management to prepare budgets and forecasts.
- Ensure compliance with tax regulations and manage timely financial obligations.
- Suggest and implement improvements in accounting and internal controls.
- Oversee cash flow and procurement processes.
- Enhance productivity of the finance team.
- Train and develop finance staff.
- Maintain strong relationships with business partners and other departments.
- Provide financial guidance to the Country GM and take on additional duties as needed.

Qualifications and Experience:

- Bachelor's degree in Accounting, Finance, or related field.
- At least 10 years of accounting and finance experience, with a minimum of 5 years in a managerial role in real estate or hospitality.
- Strong leadership and team-building skills.
- Excellent analytical and problem-solving abilities.
- Proficient in financial software and reporting tools.
- Excellent communication and interpersonal skills.
