Analyst - Enterprise Risk Management

We are looking for an Analyst in Enterprise Risk Management on behalf of a leading company in the financial services sector.

This role is crucial in strengthening the company's risk management and compliance efforts in Japan. You will be part of the Global Risk and Compliance team, working to establish and maintain a solid risk management framework. Your main tasks will include identifying, assessing, and reducing risks, while ensuring compliance with regulations. Key Responsibilities:

- Develop and monitor risk metrics and thresholds, ensuring they meet regulatory standards.
- Identify new risks and create control measures to manage them.
- Improve the internal control framework to comply with risk management standards.
- Work with teams like Credit and Fraud Risk, Compliance, and Treasury to ensure regulatory compliance.
- Oversee Japan operations to maintain an effective risk management program.

Qualifications:

- Experience in risk management or a related field.
- Strong analytical and business skills.
- Good knowledge of Japan's regulatory environment and banking industry.
- Ability to handle multiple tasks effectively.
- Fluent in English, with strong communication skills.
- Advanced degree in business, engineering, economics, or related field is preferred.
- Proven leadership skills with an interest in risk and business.
- Ability to build relationships and influence others.
- Confident, with strong integrity and openness to challenges.
- Proactive in identifying issues and advising on risk solutions.
