Engineering Manager

They are currently looking for a Software Engineering Manager to join the team.

Required Skills:

• Bachelor's degree in Computer Science or a related technical field
• Basic software development skills in any programming language
• Over 5 years of engineering experience as a software engineer
• Excellent verbal and written communication skills
• Japanese language proficiency equivalent to JLPT N2

Preferred Skills:

• Hands-on experience in search and recommendation domains
• Experience managing a software development team of 5 or more members for over 2 years
• Deep understanding of all components of search and recommendation systems, including modern technology stacks such as search infrastructure, ranking algorithms, and Elasticsearch
• Practical experience with machine learning and natural language processing
• Practical experience as a project manager
• Experience in the development and operation of microservices
• Practical experience with technologies such as Python, Java, SQL, gRPC, and Kubernetes
