Duty Manager (Tokyo Hotel)

Our client are a global hotel group, recruiting a Duty Manager for an international hotel in Tokyo.

This is an opportunity for someone experienced in front office / guest service functions to step up their career, and take a higher level of manager responsibility.


  • Manage front desk and guest relations teams.
  • Lead regular staff meetings to ensure efficient communication and operations.
  • Coordinate for VIP and special guest arrivals and departures.
  • Manage guest check-ins, check-outs, and reservations, particularly during high-traffic periods.
  • Oversee cash handling, foreign exchange reserves, and application of discounts and upgrades.
  • Take ownership of emergency response procedures.
  • Work with department heads on budgeting and staffing plans.


  • Supervisory experience in front office or guest services.
  • Strong ability in risk management
  • OPERA systems profiency.
  • MUST be fluent in Japanese.
