Key responsibilities:
1) Employee Communications:
- Deploy employee communications strategy for Japan
- Work closely with both global and local teams to ensure timely and effective employee communications on key corporate initiatives and messages (including E2J/J2E translation and translation review)
- Curate and develop contents to profile the best of what's happening in the company
- Responsible for maintaining internal employee portal(s)
2) Culture & Employee Engagement:
- Plan and deploy employee engagement and communications plan including townhall meetings for all employees
- Plan, execute, and follow-through on employee opinion survey processes
- Drive organizational cultural change and engagement initiatives including but not limited to fostering DEI and psychologically safe culture
Qualifications:
- Minimum 5 years of experience in internal communications, employee engagement; and/or culture transformation
- Excellent command of written and spoken English and Japanese, with E2J/J2E translation skills
- Familiarity with the use and advantages of various communications platform including digital channel
- Outstanding content development skills, including adapting messages and writing for different audiences, occasions and platforms
- Experience collaborating with regional and global colleagues and partners
- Excellent interpersonal skills, with a positive, proactive, curious, solution-minded attitude
