Cloud Data Engineer for Global Investment Bank

Responsibilities

• Integrate, consolidate, cleanse and optimize data for analytical and operational use
• Design, model and contribute hands-on to current and future state data platform framework
• Rapidly visualize and build data models that comply with the company's standards and toolchain
• Partner with business data stakeholders to ensure their needs are captured and met
• Work closely with internal and external IT teams to implement the strategic objectives

Requirements

Mandatory Skills

• Writing complex RDBMS SQL (on MS SQL Server, Oracle or similar)
• Python or Core Java (v.8 or later) including related technologies (JDBC, JMX, JMS, SPRING) and multi-threading
• Linux/Unix Shell Scripting
• Technical presentation to business users
• usiness Level English

Preferred Qualifications/Skills

• Bachelor's degree in Computing, Math or Engineering discipline
• Foundational ML algorithm
• RESTful APIs
• Application development for public/private/hybrid clouds
• Development experience in Snowflake or AWS cloud
• Enterprise Change and Incident Management (ITIL or similar)
• DevOps
