Our client are a global banking / professenional services institution, seeking a Chief Financial Officer (CFO) for Japan. You'll shape the financial direction of the company, lead all finance team functions, and collaborate heavily with global HQ.

Key Responsibilities

• Serve as a member of the company's executive committee.
• Contribute significantly to overall business strategy development.
• Lead & manage a multi-functional team.
• Maintain relationships with regulators, rating agencies, and auditors.
• Act as organizational representative at major events.
• Lead change initiatives (incl. efficiency improvements, new technologies, etc.)
• Oversee / and regulatory reporting, tax planning, liquidity, funding, and capital management.

Requirements

• Experience in a senior financial leadership role.
• Experience in banking / professional services.
• Expertise in managing funding, liquidity, and capital risk.
• Ability to navigate corporate governance and regulatory environments.
• Fluency in English is mandatory.
• Japanese language skills are desirable but not required.
