Specialized Group is currently searching for a Senior Finance Specialist (Manager Level) for an European firm that is number one globally in their market (industrial related), with significant presence and history in Japan. Your Responsibilities

• Manage overall financial compliance, policy, procedures of one major business unit in accordance with local as well as HQ statutory and legal requirements 
• Provide financial consultation to business unit stakeholders based on accounting, costing and other specialist accounting areas. 
• Drive continuous improvement and optimization (involving other stakeholders located outside of Japan) 
• ERP system troubleshooting 
• Involvement in global/ regional/ local projects 
• Support cash management (with assistance of regional treasury dept) 
• Support operational planning 
• Ensure timely and accurate periodic financial closing processes as a controller

The Skills and Experience You Need to Succeed

• Bachelor’s degree in finance, Accounting or related field 
• Experience in Finance, controlling, accounting in global organization at least 5+ years 
• Technical experience and knowledge with MS Suite (especially Excel) and SAP or other tier-1 ERP 
• Ability to work with tight deadlines and deliver under pressure 
• English at Business Level (especially writing communication) and Japanese at Business Level and above
