Specialized Group is currently seeking candidates for an exciting Account Manager position on behalf of a leading global digital media firm who have a strong presence in Japan.

We are looking for people with a passion for digital media/marketing and a strong sales and client relations background. The successful candidate will play a leading role in engaging with some of the world’s most famous brands and will continue the company’s growth into new industry sectors.

You should be comfortable speaking in English, with native level Japanese skills for this role.

Responsibilities

• Developing a detailed understanding of the customer’s business challenges and requirements
• Demonstrate how the company’s digital products will benefit the customer’s business
• Client relationship building, to maintain a new business pipeline and also drive increased adoption with current clients
• Liaise with senior leaders on-site with clients
• Interact internally with the product team
• Conduct promotional activity.

Required Skills

• Native level Japanese
• Conversational level English
• Highly motivated and passionate about digital media and marketing
• Team player
• Highly organized and the ability to multi-task
• Strong communication skills – native-level Japanese, business-level English
• Solid account management or sales experience in the IT industry
• Ability to deliver technical presentations and handle objections effectively
• Must be comfortable facing all levels of professionals, from junior to senior-level.
