Your Responsibilities

As a Senior Software Engineer you will join their team responsible for designing and implementing long or short term technical solutions for clients. You will execute quick quality solutions, while also improving their platform and leading other junior developers when the need arises.

This department is a global team which means you would get the opportunity to connect in a daily basis with people internationally!

Note from Specialized Group: This role is a pure software engineering role requiring good dev skills and is at the same time very much involve with their clients (Design, implementation). Kind of a mix between a pure dev role and tech support.

The Skills and Experience You Need To Succeed

1.MANDATORY TECH SKILLS

• 5+ years of experience as software engineer supporting an active product
• Good knowledge and experience with Linux-based operating systems

2.Other MANDATORY Requirements

• Computer Science Bachelor, or equivalent level of experience
• Business English
• Based in Japan

3.PREFERED QUALIFICATIONS (not mandatory)

• Experience working with a remotely based team
• Exposure with the following programming languages: Bash, JS (NodeJS and React), Java and Go
• Experience with these technologies: Docker, Kubernetes, Nginx, Jenkins, Tomcat, MySQL, Elasticsearch
• Experience with these services: Dynatrace (APM), Managed Kubernetes Services (e.g. AKS, EKS, GKE, or OpenShift) - GKE preferred
• Experience in these roles: Software Engineer, Customer Support, Technical Support, Server Administration
• Any of the following certifications:

-Google Cloud Certified Professional Cloud Architect
-Google Cloud Certified Professional DevOps Engineer
