My Client is looking for a candidate for an exciting role with their highly innovative Company for Technical Manager

Purpose of the role

This role involves providing technical assistance to customers and sales team members, collaborating closely with the Company's global R&D teams. Additionally, ensuring compliance with relevant laws and regulations in the cosmetics industry and actively driving efforts to obtain quasi-product certification for our products. Specifically, the responsibilities include:

- Conducting technical seminars, delivering training to distributors, and engaging in technical discussions with customers.

- Translating technical documentation into Japanese.

- Addressing customer inquiries related to technical aspects, providing requested technical data, and resolving technical issues by collaborating with our global laboratories to enhance product performance and develop new formulations.

Personal Profile

Essentials you have:

- Possess a Master's degree in chemistry, materials science, biochemistry, pharmacy, biology, or a related field. Candidates with higher degrees will be given preference.

- Have a minimum of 5-8 years of experience in the personal care industry, with a focus on cosmetics development and regulatory affairs experience being advantageous.

- Demonstrate a solid understanding of the cosmetics ecosystem in Japan.

- Exhibit technical knowledge of cosmetic ingredients.

- Possess a foundational understanding of Japanese cosmetics-related laws and regulations, including the Pharmaceuticals and Medical Devices Act.

- Demonstrate proficiency in English, including the ability to write high-quality technical documents and communicate effectively verbally.
