Senior Tax Consultant (Financial Services and Real Estate) - work in English OK!

Our client are a global consulting firm, recruiting a Senior Tax Consultant with a background in Financial Services and Real Estate.

This is a rare opportunity to work in English, with Japanese language not required!

Responsibilities:

• - Give tax advice to major US, European, and APAC funds and startups on investment structures and acquisition transactions.
• - Evaluate finance and real estate transactions
• - Write tax memoranda and reports on implications and alternatives.
• - Work on projects related to capital markets, investment management, private equity, real estate, renewables, infrastructure, aviation leasing, and insurance.
• - Work with clients / international affiliates on complex international platforms and cross-border investment structuring.
• - Tax due diligence tasks, incl. reviewing transaction documents from a tax perspective.

Requirements:

• - At least 4 years of experience in tax consulting (pref. at a Big 4 accounting firm or law firm).
• - Good analytical, project management, and report writing skills.
• - Qualifications such as Lawyer, Chartered Accountant, Chartered Tax Advisor, or Chartered Financial Analyst (advantageous).
• - Good English skills (Japanese not required).
