Provide support services for Reference Data platforms and the proprietary distribution platform
Extensive interaction with Enterprise Data Management, Middle Office, Back Office and Compliance etc.
Partner with application development and support teams to ensure smooth delivery of platform changes and upgrades
Interaction with core infrastructure technology groups to ensure management and maintenance of application dependent core infrastructure
Strong analytical and problem solving skills and ability to take a deep dive into investigations
Maintain team knowledge base of known issues, steps required to address particular issues, documentation of new processes and general updates to keep content current
Ensure incident management procedures are followed for each and every reported issue to strengthen the knowledge base, and generation of KPIs for decision making and understanding application trends.
Minimum 4 to 5 years of experience in application production services.
Tech skills: Python, SQL, Unix scripting, Python
Proven experience with IT Incident, Problem, and Change Management processes.
Fluency in Japanese and moderate English.
Experience of application management improvement processes & support practices.
Strong Relationship Management skills
Strong analytical and problem solving skills
Experience with managing transitional changes to large and complex systems.
Operating systems knowledge (Unix, Linux, Windows)
Full understanding of ITIL
Experience in supporting and administering DevOps tools as part of the deployment pipeline e.g. Git, Jenkins, Docker, Ansible, Elastic, Jira etc.
Knowledge and experience in IT automation
Knowledge and understanding of the Site Reliablility Engineering principles
Understanding of Agile practices and principles
Understanding of Data Services applications within an Investment Bank
AWS Practitioner Certification or similar
Working knowledge of cloud technologies (AWS, Azure or similar)
