SCM Retail Planner

ENGLISH

Our client, a leading fashion company, is seeking a Supply Chain professional to join their team in Tokyo.

You will play a crucial role in ensuring that the retail stores hold the right products at the appropriate level of quantity with the targeted lead-time and forecast coverage.

You will work closely with other teams such as Logistics/Warehouse, Merchandise, Retail, and worldwide Supply Chain teams to achieve the most effective supply chain flows and optimized inventory.

Responsibilities:

• Sustain the right product level at retail/digital stores in both qualitative and quantitative measures.
• Regularly follow store business results to identify trends and take inventory related action to optimize business.
• Respond to inventory/order inquiries from stores through call/email.
• Visit stores to communicate with store teams directly to identify opportunities for better inventory, and share visit reports.
• Understand omnichannel business schemes/systems and monitor related KPIs to take appropriate actions.
• Support inventory build for store opening, renewal, and events.
• Develop positive relationships with other departments and worldwide supply chain teams.
• Provide stock support for store events by creating manual orders/retrieving stock from other stores.

Key Qualifications:

• At least 2 years of experience in a supply chain / operation-related department.
• Strong knowledge of data/figure analysis and advanced Excel skills.
• Equipped with strong business and operations knowledge, including retail operations.
• Creative and analytical thinker with a practical approach to problem-solving and process improvement.
• Excellent communication and interpersonal skills.
• Proficient in SAP and database skills (preferred).
• Fluent in Japanese with business-level English.

【業務内容】

・小売店舗/デジタル店舗で適切な商品レベルを維持する
・店舗のビジネス結果を定期的にフォローアップし、ビジネストレンドを理解し、ビジネス最適化のために在庫に関するアクションが必要かどうかを確認する
・在庫/注文に関する店舗からの問い合わせに対応する
・店舗訪問を行い、ストアチームと直接コミュニケーションを図り、在庫の改善機会を探し、訪問レポートを共有する
・オムニチャネルビジネス計画/システムを理解し、関連するKPIを監視し、適切なアクションを取る
・店舗の開店、リニューアル、イベントのための在庫構築をサポートする
・他の部門および世界的なSCチームと適切な良好な関係を構築する
・手動注文の作成/他の店舗からの在庫の取得による店舗イベントの在庫サポートを提供する


【求めるスキル・経験】

・オペレーション部門での経験があること
・データ分析とExcelスキルに強いこと
・小売オペレーションを含む、ビジネスとオペレーションに関する知識があること
・実践的な問題解決とプロセス改善のアプローチを持つ、創造的で分析的な思考ができること
・優れたコミュニケーション能力と人間関係構築能力があること
・SAPやデータベースのスキルがあれば尚良い
・日本語ネイティブレベル、ビジネスレベルの英語力があれば尚良い
