Payroll Manager (Global Entertainment) 経理マネージャー

We are looking for a Payroll Manager to oversee payroll operations in Japan for a global leader in entertainment & consumer goods.

Responsibilities:

• Manage payroll operations in Japan as part of a wider regional team.
• Review and approve payroll reports from third-party vendors.
• Coordinate between third-party payroll services and internal teams.
• Ensure compliance with all payroll-related legal requirements.
• Document payroll processes, including procedures and guidelines.
• Prepare and submit payroll reports to management, authorities, and others.
• Handle payroll queries from employees and escalate complex issues.
• Work with Finance to align payroll data with the general ledger.

Qualifications:

• Experience in payroll management, ideally in entertainment or similar sectors.
• Strong organizational and leadership skills.
• Good communication skills and experience working with third-party vendors.
• Knowledge of payroll systems and legal requirements in Japan.
• Attention to detail and commitment to timely delivery.
• Teamwork and collaborative skills.
• Fluency in Japanese language is required.
