Our client, a growing company in the Premium FMCG industry, is seeking a Japan Head of Retail to lead and develop their retail team. This role offers the opportunity to drive strategic retail initiatives, manage P&L, and foster a values-driven culture.

Key Responsibilities:

- Lead and mentor retail team for high performance
- Develop strategic plans to exceed sales targets
- Manage P&L for retail division
- Analyze market trends for growth opportunities
- Ensure compliance with company policies
- Collaborate with cross-functional teams for brand consistency
- Develop store expansion and market entry strategies

Qualifications:

- Experience managing P&L and retail financial metrics
- Bilingual in Japanese and English (preferred)
- Proven leadership in large team management
- Experience in fast-paced retail environments
- Strong strategic thinking and business acumen
- Willingness to travel as necessary
- Experience in Premium FMCG industry is preferred but not mandatory
- Familiarity with retail compliance and HR/Finance collaboration
- Knowledge of market trends and competitor analysis
