HR Director - Ethical and Sustainable Cosmetics Firm

This position would be for a cosmetics firm that specialize in cleanly sourced products and ingredients with a focus on ethical practices and sustainability.

They are also invested in new ways to spread their products and services such as virtual 1 on 1 consultations, live stream events and virtual try ons

The office is located in Ginza, but with WFH and flex time options available

The position would oversee all HR activities in Japan, developing and implementing strategies and initiatives, reporting to the general manager along with the Chief People officer based in New York

• A focus on forming corporate culture and restructuring appraisal and salary systems
• Development of HR strategies and initiatives
• Support for both corporate and retail staff
• Ensure legal compliance throughout HR and admin management
• Development & implementation of global HR policies and strategies

You would have 1 staff reporting to you who handles Payroll and Employee Relations

Requirements:

• Experience working as a HR & GA manager or equivalent
• Ability to architect strategy along with leadership skills
• Knowledge of laws and best practices in HR & GA
• Strong English language capabilities
