We are looking for a Global IT Support Manager for a well-known digital entertainment company.
This role involves managing IT services in Japan and major Asian regions like Singapore, South Korea, Taiwan, Hong Kong, and China. You will lead a team that values teamwork and learning. Your main tasks will include improving IT support operations and aligning them with global IT goals.
Key Responsibilities:
- Manage IT support desk operations with clear goals and use the PDCA cycle for continuous improvement.
- Create and manage regular reports on IT support activities for management.
- Plan and manage PC setups and asset management for Windows and Mac systems.
- Work with IT teams in the US and UK to launch new IT programs and maintain 24-hour global support.
- Oversee a team of 20-30 external vendors, managing budgets and workloads.
- Lead global IT support projects, ensuring smooth collaboration with international teams.
Qualifications:
- Bachelor's degree or equivalent in a relevant field.
- Over 5 years of experience in IT service management, including design and operations.
- At least 5 years of team management experience.
- Strong English skills to work with global teams.
- Have two or more of the following: ITIL v4 Foundation, PMP, CMMI, IPA IT Service Manager, Certified Scrum Master, MTA, MCSA, ACMT, CompTIA A+.
- Strong communicator, able to work with internal and external stakeholders to improve business processes.
