Finance Business Partner

We are looking for a skilled Finance Business Partner to join a leading company in the healthcare and FMCG sectors in Tokyo.

This role offers the chance to work internationally, closely working with business and marketing teams. You can also enjoy a flexible work arrangement with up to 50% remote work.

Responsibilities

- Serve as the main contact for managing operational expenses in Japan's commercial operations.
- Track Year-to-Date (YTD) and Year-to-Go (YTG) operational expenses.
- Work with commercial teams, like Marketing, Performance Analytics, and Communication, to align forecasts.
- Review and approve procurement requests.
- Find cost-saving opportunities and collaborate with local leaders to implement them.
- Participate in special projects and task-force initiatives.
- Work closely with Regional and Zonal General Managers, the Zonal Head of Marketing, Supply Chain Business Partners, Accounting & Reporting Teams, and both internal and external auditors.

Qualifications

- More than 8 years of experience as a Finance Business Partner.
- Strong knowledge of accounting practices; CPA or CA preferred but not essential.
- Excellent critical thinking and business partnering skills.
- Strong communication skills and a team player who works well with others.
- Fluent in English and Japanese, with the ability to draft legal documents in both languages preferred.

- 地域およびゾーンのゼネラルマネージャー、ゾーンのマーケティング責任者、サプライチェーンビジネスパートナー、会計＆報告チーム、および社内外の監査人と緊密に連携します。

資格

- ファイナンスビジネスパートナーとして8年以上の経験。
- 会計実務の強い知識があり、CPAまたはCAが望ましいが、必須ではありません。
- 優れた批判的思考能力とビジネスパートナーシップスキル。
- 優れたコミュニケーションスキルを持ち、他の人とよく協力するチームプレーヤー。
- 英語と日本語に堪能で、両言語での法的文書の作成が可能であることが望ましい。
