| 【About Us】 Worldtrade Management Service (WMS) is the global customs and international trade consulting practice. WMS helps companies to manage import and export compliance risks, reduce international trade costs, and improve supply chain efficiency. The practice in Japan is part of a regional WMS network in Asia that consists of a team of trade and customs professionals who have experience in helping companies throughout the region to manage customs and trade both from an inbound and outbound perspective. Globally, WMS makes available an extensive network of trade and customs consultants in over 60 countries. As a Manager, you will be leading teams and working closely with Senior Managers and Directors to deliver both local and regional projects, and to maintain and grow our client and intra-firm relationships. 【Roles and responsibilities】 ・Executing and delivering a wide range of projects in conjunction with other WMS teams around the region and with the PwC Tax, Assurance and Advisory practices in Japan. ・Client projects require deep knowledge of customs valuation & classification, Free Trade Agreements, import / export compliance, Japan-specific procedures and protocols and trade strategy development. Candidates will also be expected to identify potential opportunities to improve trade efficiency and savings as well as improvements in compliance. ・Experience with implementation of global trade automation solutions is helpful. ・Candidates will be expected to assume a proactive role in planning and executing practice improvements, business development, and other initiatives to develop and create opportunities for the WMS business. ・Guiding and mentoring staff [About Us] World Trade Management Service (WMS) is a global customs and international trade consulting practice. As a manager, you will lead a team and work closely with senior managers and directors to execute local/regional projects and maintain and develop client-internal relationships. [Roles and Responsibilities of this position] ・Work with other WMS teams and tax, audit, and advisory departments to implement and execute various projects. ・Client projects require in-depth knowledge of customs assessment and classification, free trade agreements, import/export compliance, Japan-specific procedures and protocols, and trade strategy formulation. It also requires identifying potential opportunities for trade efficiency, cost reduction and compliance improvement. ・If you have experience in implementing global trade automation solutions, you can make use of it. ・You will play an active role in planning and executing business improvement, business development, and other initiatives to develop and create opportunities for the WMS business. ・In order to promote the self-growth of the staff, we will provide guidance and mentoring. |
