Our client are a global cosmetics / FMCG company, recruiting a Commercial Controller for a client in the FMCG and cosmetics industry. This role is vital to the client's financial team, focusing on enhancing financial performance and providing strategic insights.

You'll provide insights on financial performance, make recommendations, and lead cross-department projects to improve processes & efficiency.

Responsibilities:

• Lead initiatives to improve processes and efficiency.
• Prepare financial forecasts, budgets, and perform variance analysis.
• Analyze sales data and financial reports to detect trends and assess risks.
• Work with sales / marketing team on pricing strategies.

Qualifications:

• At least 3 years of relevant experience.
• Experience with financial modeling, financial regulations and accounting.
• Prior experience in the consumer goods sector is an advantage (preferred).
• Experience in financial data interpretation.
• Proficient in Excel and financial software.
• Japanese fluency.
