Business Development and Commercial Manager (Shipping / Logistics)

We are recruiting a Business Development and Commercial Manager for a global leader in the shipping industry.

This is a strategic role with leadership resoonsibilities; you will have the opportunity to expand your skillset, develop commercial strategies, and expand business in the air cargo sector.

Responsibilities:

  • Implement commercial strategies and manage relationships with key accounts.
  • Analyze market trends for new business opportunities and sales strategy development.
  • Oversee Global Service Agents and sales teams to meet revenue goals and maintain company standards.
  • Work with internal departments like Legal and Finance to improve operations.
  • Participate in the overall commercial process, including market analysis and sales channel development.


Requirements:

  • Proven leadership skills and team motivation capabilities.
  • At least 5 years of management experience in the air cargo industry.
  • Strong commercial awareness, communication skills, and analytical ability.
  • Knowledge of air freight operations, including customs and security regulations.
  • Japanese language ability is mandatory.
