An European automotive company is currently looking for IT Manager. This company has strong presence and history in Japan. They have a very successful business worldwide and now working on an important project they are looking to hire a new IT manager to lead their internal team

The aim of the team is to enable and assist business partners to implement IT solutions for the
company ongoing project and program. Solutions should leverage the company cloud based digital platform to develop end-to-end digital processes, visualization and analytics solutions.

Your Responsibilities   

• Build, train and manage internal and external resources
• Successfully manage and develop supplier teams with clear performance targets and delivery management structure
• Tailor & provide solutions to the needs of key business partners
• Ensure delivery of topics within budget and timeline and transition to responsible line function for application support and maintenance

The Skills and Experience You Will Need to Succeed

• 5 years related experience
• Solution architecture and analysis experience (Design, platform, database)
• Familiar with Industry 4.0 stack and implementation of modern technologies
• Fluency in English & Japanese is appreciated
• Being based in Japan
• Coordination of Cloud-based application development & experience in digital transformation
• Working in Teams applying DevOps best practices
• Understanding of business process modelling and design techniques (software/processes)
• Project Management experience (Waterfall, Agile, SCRUM)
