Our client in the financial services industry is looking for an Operations Manager to manage operations in the online brokerage sector. This role is key to ensuring efficient trade settlement and process improvement. Key Responsibilities:
- - Manage online brokerage processes, ensuring smooth execution and settlement of trades.
- - Confirm all trade transactions are completed correctly and on time.
- - Monitor trade reports to quickly resolve any failed trades.
- - Ensure trade settlements are funded and handle settlement and corporate action events.
- - Reconcile trades and corporate actions for equities and other financial products.
- - Identify and fix gaps in control procedures to improve efficiency.
- - Analyze data to support the launch of new financial products and services.
- - Manage inquiries and resolve issues, suggesting policy improvements to streamline operations.
- - Participate in projects, including User Acceptance Testing (UAT), and enhance processes.
- - Support organizational changes by developing better global operations processes.
Qualifications:
- - Bachelor's degree or equivalent, with strong experience in equities and/or derivatives.
- - Experience in trade support and settlement at brokerage firms, custodians, or banks.
- - Thorough understanding of trade flow and reconciliation processes.
- - Skilled in payment and receipt operations, with keen attention to detail and problem-solving skills.
- - Bilingual in Japanese and English, with excellent communication skills.
- - Strong team player with a positive and collaborative attitude.
