HR Generalist


We are looking for an HR Generalist for an IT company in Tokyo, Japan. This role is important for improving employee experience and managing office tasks. You will work in an international setting, helping to connect local work with global goals.

Key Responsibilities

  • - Provide HR support to managers and staff.
  • - Manage local HR systems and processes.
  • - Handle payroll, compensation, and benefits according to local laws.
  • - Oversee recruitment, onboarding, and offboarding.
  • - Work with global HR teams to ensure alignment with company strategies.
  • - Manage suppliers, including contract negotiations.
  • - Ensure a safe workplace.
  • - Handle office tasks like procurement and invoice processing.
  • - Plan and run office events to build a positive work culture.


What We're Looking For

  • - 3-5 years of HR experience in Japan, such as Assistant, Coordinator, or Generalist roles.
  • - Knowledge of Japanese labor laws and workplace regulations.
  • - Experience in office management and administration.
  • - Fluent in Japanese and English with strong communication skills.
  • - Proficient in MS Office applications.
  • - Experience in supplier management and contract reading is a plus.
