APAC Strategic Sourcing Manager
Our client, a leading company in data center infrastructure, is seeking a Strategic Sourcing Manager to improve operations across the APAC region. This important role, based in Tokyo, Japan, offers the chance to work in a fast-paced and expanding industry.
Key Responsibilities:
- Develop and implement procurement strategies for areas like construction and energy infrastructure to increase supplier variety and growth.
- Use market knowledge to find and onboard suppliers in new and existing APAC regions, ensuring strong and scalable supply chains.
- Build and maintain strong relationships with suppliers, ensuring they meet performance standards.
- Lead supplier onboarding processes, including negotiating contract terms that meet business needs.
- Set and improve key performance indicators to ensure competitive supplier markets.

What You Bring:
- A Bachelor's Degree in Business Administration, Supply Chain, Engineering, or a related field.
- Over 7 years of experience in sourcing and procurement within APAC, with expertise in various capital expenditure areas and project management.
- Proven ability to use market insights for improvements.
- Proficiency in Japanese and English, both written and spoken.
- A Master's degree in a relevant field.
- Experience in metrics-driven environments with a record of delivering significant customer benefits through strategic sourcing.
- Knowledge of data center capital expenditure procurement.
- PMP, Six Sigma, or similar certification is a plus.
- Ability to speak additional languages beyond Japanese and English.

- データセンターの資本支出調達に関する知識
- PMP、シックスシグマ、または同等の資格があれば尚可
- 日本語および英語以外の言語能力があれば尚可
