Specialized Group is currently searching for a Technical Manager ESS in Tokyo.

Our Client

Global leader in energy management solutions, providing clean, reliable and affordable energy control to residential customers through innovative energy storage products. Currently expanding into the Asia market and are looking for a passionate candidate to be the technical lead for market entry and development in Japan.  

Your Responsibilities

• Managing Product certification process, (JET Certification) 
• Analysis on Regulatory requirements 
• Building and managing a technical service team 
• Supporting technical requirements for energy storage systems in Japanese Market. 
• Communication/Collaboration with international offices while supporting product development initiatives

The Skills and Experience You Need to Succeed

• University level degree with relative focus 
• 3+ years’ experience working with hardware products, preferably international environment 
• Willingness to travel extensively within Japan and occasional to international office (EUR) 
• Project Management skills, able to work independently 
• Native-level Japanese language skills 
• Business-level English language skills
