Specialized Group is currently searching for a Senior Equity IT Support Specialist.

Our Client

International investment company with strong focus on Technology in front office trading systems. 

Your Responsibilities

In this role you will work with a specialist Support Team that provides Support to Users of several cutting-edge Technologies in Equity Front-Office. You will work to investigate, trouble-shoot, solve or escalate technical issues from Trading Systems in this space. There will be a range of Business-side and IT-side stakeholders to work with in regard to technical fixes and also rolling-out system upgrades.

The Skills and Experience You Need to Succeed

Ideally, you will be someone from a Finance IT Background. Front-Office exposure will be a plus, but not a must have. Technical skills in a Unix/Linux environment, such as, Perl, Shell or Python scripting will be important, along with SQL and database skills. Experience trouble-shooting and solving technical system issues is a must.
