Our client, a Fortune 150 technology company, is seeking a Senior HR Business Partner for their expanding operations in Japan. This role offers the opportunity to work closely with senior leaders, driving strategic HR initiatives and participating in cross-functional projects.
Key Responsibilities:
- Advise leaders on organizational design and workforce planning
- Lead HR projects across countries and functions
- Manage annual performance review cycles
- Implement talent management and succession planning
- Ensure compliance with labor laws and HR policies
- Collaborate with global HR teams to share best practices
Qualifications:
- 7+ years of experience in Human Resources
- Native-level Japanese proficiency
- Business-level English proficiency required
- Experience in talent management and performance cycles
- Strong knowledge of HR policies and labor laws
- Experience with HR software like Workday or SAP SuccessFactors is preferred but not mandatory
- Experience in a startup environment is preferred but not mandatory
