Senior Business Development Manager/ Director (Title Flexible) Location: Japan

The company has strong global traction, a large existing user base, and a proven product, and is now accelerating international growth. This is an opportunity to join a company beyond the early startup stage and play a key role in building and scaling the Japan business. Responsibilities
Lead business development and sales activities in the Japanese market
Identify, develop, and manage strategic partnerships and key customer relationships
Drive revenue growth across multiple industries
Work closely with global teams to localize go-to-market strategies for Japan
Represent the company in customer meetings, industry events, and partner discussions
Requirements
Strong experience in business development, sales, or partnerships (AI, SaaS, or technology preferred)
Proven ability to open new markets and close complex deals
Experience working with global or international teams
Understanding of the Japanese business environment
Fluent Japanese required; business-level English preferred
Title and scope can be flexible based on experience
