We are seeking a HR Operations Specialist for a multinational medical device company. This is an opportunity to work closely with the Japan HR Head, handling key HR operations and gaining a wide range of experience.

Responsibilities:

• Manage payroll, social insurance, and tax procedures for employees in Japan.
• Handle employee attendance and benefits.
• Address and resolve HR-related queries.
• Implement HR policies according to legal standards.
• Store and maintain HR data and employee records securely.
• Oversee onboarding and offboarding processes.
• Coordinate with internal teams and external partners such as payroll vendors.

Qualifications:

• 4+ years of experience in HR operations and payroll.
• Knowledge of Japanese labor laws.
• Experience with Workday (HRIS) is a plus.
• Fluent Japanese, business-level English.
