About the role: The Employee Engagement Senior Specialist will focus on improving workplace experiences, leading employee service initiatives, handling employee benefits, and ensuring HR compliance.
The suitable candidate: Experienced in Human Resources, with strong leadership skills and a strategic mindset.
Responsibilities:
- Lead & mentor junior HR staff, encouraging their development.
- Improve employee experience and handle employee inquiries.
- Manage onboarding and offboarding processes.
- Create and enforce health and safety policies, including risk assessments and training.
- Oversee employee benefits programs.
- Comply with international and local labor laws, updating HR practices as needed.
- Update HR policies and procedures, ensuring they are followed.
- Use HRIS and payroll software for HR process optimization and data management.
- Manage employee transfers, global mobility, and immigration compliance.
- Support HR practices across group companies.
Qualifications:
- At least 6 years in HR operations.
- 2 years of experience in a senior role (preferred).
- Knowledge of labor laws, HR policies, and operational practices.
- Effective leadership, organizational, communication, and interpersonal skills.
- Ability to negotiate with various stakeholders and partners.
- Skilled in HRIS, payroll systems, and MS Office.
- Fluent in Japanese.
