Director of Revenue Management, Tokyo Hotel (Work in English OK!)

Our client are a luxury hotel in Central Tokyo, recruiting a Director of Revenue Management.

This role is ideal for professionals with a background in managing large hotels (300+ rooms).

This is a rare opportunity to work primarily in English. Japanese ability will be beneficial, but is not required.

Responsibilities

• Lead Revenue & Reservations teams.
• Lead the development of pricing strategies.
• Analyze loyalty program and revenue trends.
• Evaluate business profitability.
• Monitor competitor pricing and market dynamics.
• Optimize demand for rooms and function spaces.
• Set rates for group proposals and events.
• Manage revenue systems.
• Ensure policy and procedure compliance.

Qualifications

• 4+ years relevant experience.
• 2+ years in a supervisory / team managerial role.
• Knowledge of hotel pricing and yield management.
• Ability to train and lead teams effectively.
• Experience in large hotels (300+ rooms) highly preferred.
• Japanese ability is preferred, but not required.
