Our client, a high-performing US fashion retailer, is seeking a CFO to oversee Finance, IT, and Logistics with a competitive salary range of 18-25m JPY. This critical role offers the opportunity to drive performance and influence key business decisions in a successful region. The position includes comprehensive responsibilities across financial planning, budgeting, and reporting, with collaboration opportunities with New York and Milan offices.

Key Responsibilities:

- Prepare structured financial reports for executive discussions
- Conduct ad-hoc financial analysis for trend insights
- Review monthly spending against budget with cost center owners
- Coordinate planning and budgeting processes with stakeholders
- Ensure timely and accurate budget and forecast uploads
- Identify and recommend process and system improvements
- Ensure compliance with audit requests and financial regulations
- Prepare and present financial materials for executive reviews
- Collaborate with international teams for financial alignment
- Monitor inventory levels and sell-through performance

Qualifications:

- Experience as CFO in retail industry (mandatory)
- Strong financial reporting and analysis skills
- Experience with budgeting and forecasting processes
- Ability to collaborate with international teams
- Fluency in English and Japanese (is preferred but not mandatory)
- Familiarity with ERP systems (is preferred but not mandatory)
- Experience in financial compliance and audit processes
