FP&A Manager

POSITION TITLE: Manager - Commercial Finance and FP&A

POSITION REPORTS TO: Commercial Finance and FP&A Director
LOCATION: TOKYO


PRIMARY RESPONSIBILITIES/ACCOUNTABILITIES OF THE JOB:

• Prepare/review managerial and financial reports and analyze the results with accuracy, timeliness, and completeness based on the most updated business situation
• Maintain monthly forecast and budget by facilitating internal business partners
• Monitor sales, gross margin, and store/company profit performance against budget/forecast and recommend timely corrective action
• Provide the financial analysis and insights which are relevant to the decision making
• Make recommendations to enhance business processes and profitability
• Support cross functional activities which requires finance knowledge

INTERNAL & EXTERNAL CONTACTS:

Internal: Finance team Strong communication link with finance colleagues is crucial to maintain the proper data and submit the report timely

Other internal business functions: Proactive engagement is very important to timely and accurately capture/reflect business events into forecast/budget and make necessary actions as FP&A

External: Region / Global PVH associates

SUPERVISORY RESPONSIBILITIES:
Direct: FP&A team member (1-3 person)

Indirect: n/a

QUALIFICATIONS & EXPERIENCE:

Experience:

• 7-8 years or more working experience in FP&A/Finance Department at Multinational Company or consulting firm in total
• Experience in retail/apparel industry is desirable
• Experience in consulting firm/investment bank is a plus

Education:

• CPA and/or MBA desirable

Skills:

• Commercial mindset in tandem with the technical financial literacy
• Advanced Microsoft Office Excel skills
• Knowledge of SAP/HFM/Essbase advantage
• Written and oral English that must be practical to communicate with overseas counterparts (TOEIC 900 or more)
