A world top consumer goods company is looking for an Accounting Manager for its Japan office located at central Tokyo. 

Your Responsibilities

• Drive continuous improvement in the efficiency and effectiveness of the team’s monthly and quarterly accounting and financial reporting processes. Quarterly management and external reporting.
• Lead and manage Japan’s tax returns - Corporate Tax, Consumption tax, enterprise tax etc.
• Work closely with other teams to enable new business strategies and optimize/enhance accounting processes. 

The Skills and Experience You Need to Succeed

• 5+ years of experience working in accounting, finance or related functions of an international company 
• Strong communication skills in both in Japanese and in English
• Good knowledge of Japanese Tax
• Team leading experience
• US GAAP knowledge  (preferred)
