Our Client

Specialized Group’s client is an international automotive components company with a growing team in Japan.  This position is located in the Kanagawa office.

Your Responsibilities

• The Accountant manages accounting transactions within the general ledgers.
• Recording of accounting transactions in according with local law and standards
• Checking primary documents requirements
• Observance and checking of internal audit IC2
• Records archive
• Executing subsequent operations in the accounting system (unblocking for payment, payments processing, and clearing items)
• Balance Sheet justification preparation and review
• Monthly/Half-Yearly/Yearly closing preparation including supporting documentation for local taxes return
• VAT returns preparation and processing if required
• Processing and checks of documents for audits and Tax controls
• Integration, control of the Payroll in the accounting system
• Communication with audit and tax partners (external and internal)
• Experience with differences accounting and solving (price, volume, payment)
• Checking issued invoices
• E-procurement (procurement system) requests approving (checking the account numbers)

The Skills and Experience You Need to Succeed

• FP&A experience 
• Group reporting and TB closing experience
• Variance analysis and budget experience
• SAP or other ERP system experience
• 3 years' experience in an international company
• Accounting experience
• Automotive company experience is a plus
