Sr Java Developer for a Global Investment Bank (JPN-based only)

Responsibilities

• The person would be part of Unity STP team
• Understand the Unity framework for development
• Map the requirements to the smaller components that need to be delivered as part of the larger project
• Ensure code quality and delivery timelines
• Propose solutions

Requirements

Mandatory

• 5-9 years of experience in Java.
• Experience on server side technologies such as JMS / Asynchronus programming / Multithreading
• Familiarity with development and source code versioning tools such as Maven / Gradle / Jenkins / Crucible / Git is required
• Experience on Spring Framework
• Good problem solving skills
• Good understanding of programming concepts and design patterns
• Good written and verbal communication skills in English
• Willing to learn new technologies / tools as required

Preferred

• Database SQL understanding
• Apache Camel experienceKnowledge on cloud technologies would be an added advantage
• Knowledge of Investment banking (Fixed income in particular) domain would be an added advantage
